The Stickney Observatory will be open for public observing tonight at 7PM! It will be partially cloudy, but shouldn’t hamper our mission much. I hope to see you all there!
Spring public observing starts this week! This term we will, once again, have observing on Thursday nights at Stickney Observatory. See the full schedule on our web page, but our first night is scheduled for Thursday, February 20, starting at 7pm! All observing is “weather permitting,” so remember to check our website after 5pm on the night of observing to see if it’s clear enough to observe.
Public Observing at 7 PM will be canceled due to significant cloud coverage. Stay tuned for our new schedule in February 2020! In the meantime, happy holidays and safe travels to those commuting for winter break!
