Public Observing starts this week! We will observe most Thursday nights (see the schedule for details) that it is clear, starting at 8:00pm in September, 7:30pm in October, then 7:00pm in November and December. Please join us in enjoying the sights of the universe (but make sure to check back here after 5pm on the day of observing for a weather update). Looking forward to beautiful skies this fall season!
Our observatory is closed to the public over the Summer, while students are away and we’re doing maintenance. We will re-open in the Fall, likely in mid-September. Watch here for details!

We have finally resolved the maintenance issues with our main telescope and look as if we might be getting some clear weather starting this week. As such, we will begin our (abbreviated) spring public night session this week!
Weather permitting, we will begin observing at 8:30pm this Thursday, April 25. Please check here after 5pm on Thursday to make sure observing is happening and then we hope to see you down at the observatory!
