Cloudy with no chance of public observing! Let’s try again next week 🙂
That weather does not look good this time, either (what a shocker…). There will be no Public Observing tonight. Let’s have even more hope for next week!

Unfortunately, the weather is not expected to clear up tonight so there will be no Public Observing. Hopefully, it’ll be clear next week 🙂
Come join us for our first public observing night of the Spring term at 7:00 PM 🙂
The observatory will re-open for public observing starting next week, on Thursday, February 26. The schedule for the spring term is on the observatory webpage under the “Schedule and Information” heading. Please remember that we can only observe when it’s clear, so check back here after 5pm on the date of the public night to see if we’ll be able to observe.
The observatory is closed to the public during the college’s winter break while students are off campus and we conduct maintenance projects at the observatory. We plan to re-open in late February or early March. Watch this page for an announcement of our Spring observing nights.
Come join us for public observing tonight at Stickney Observatory. Observing will start at 6:30 pm!
Unfortunately, no public observing tonight due to clouds! Hopefully more luck next week.
