Because of thunderstorms in the area, we will not be able to observe tonight. Please check back here once the Fall, 2014 semester starts. We will also post information about any special summer observing events here.
Because of forecasted cloudy skies, we have to cancel observing for tonight (May 8). We’ll try one last time before the end of term on Thursday, May 22 at 9pm.
Because of the Inauguration of Bennington’s President, we have a special observing night scheduled for Saturday, April 26, beginning at 8:30pm.
Because of this, we will not have observing tonight, April 24.
There will be no public observing tonight (April 3). We’ll try again later in April!
Observing is cancelled for tonight, March 20. We’ll try again in two weeks.
The skies look great, so we will have observing as scheduled tonight, March 6, starting at 7pm. Hope to see you out at Stickney Observatory!
Because of cloudy conditions, we unfortunately cannot observe tonight (February 27). We will try again next Thursday (March 6).

As always, public nights are free and open to the public. Public observing typically runs for approximately 1-1.5 hours, depending on the number of people who show up. Also, public observing is “weather permitting,” so please make sure to check back here after 5pm on the day of the observing to see if we will be able to observe that night.
